Electroporation is a non-invasive method for the transdermal drug delivery system. Our skin has a natural protective layer called the Stratum Corneum. This is a matrix of dead cells that create a barrier against penetration. Special electric pulses lead to the formation of ultra micropores that increase the cutaneous permeability. As a result uptake of active molecules increases in the stratum corneum. Mesoporation increases the skin permeability allowing improved passage for medications, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes. The goal of “No needle mesotherapy” or “electroporation” is to make it more permeable for non-invasive, and painless treatments.
No Needle Mesotherapy is a safe needle-free way to deliver injection grade ingredients into the middle layer of the skin. By using a mild low-frequency current, the natural serums penetrate the skin’s surface to deep down at the cellular level. Subsequently, all the natural ingredients such as vitamins, and hyaluronic acid make the skin healthier, smoother, toned, and more youthful.
Replaces the need of traditional Mesotherapy or Vitamin injections.
Does not cause any pain, bruising or down time.
Deliver natural active ingredients into the skin in a controlled and precise manner.
Has very good results on face or neck so replace the need for Fillers, Botox or Vitamin injections.
In Mesotherapy, we infuse a bespoke cocktail of powerful vitamins, into the lower layers of the skin using a mesotherapy device. On the other hand, Microneedling gently moves multiple microscopic needles over the face to cause minuscule puncture marks, activating the production of collagen and elastin. So, targeted active solutions reach deep into the skin. So No needle Mesotherapy is better for skin issues that present from the lower layers, such as dehydration and advanced aging.
While both Microneedling and No needle Mesotherapy work by stimulating collagen formation, they’re each suited to different concerns, so we can choose the best suitable treatment. Skinssence Aesthetic Clinic has both procedures on its menu so that we can address the wide range of client concerns.
No needle Mesotherapy is far more comfortable for clients than Microneedling. It’s only a probe moving over the skin, whereas Microneedling involves multiple needles at once. Therefore, Microneedling requires topical anesthetic cream to numb the area, also indicating downtime involved in the procedures.
Microneedling, on the other hand, is better suited to stretchmarks and scarring on the body. The controlled dermal wounding stimulates the wound healing cascade. As a result, various growth factors release to promote new collagen and elastin formation. These collagen and elastin molecules are the building blocks of healthy skin.
At Skinssence Aesthetic Clinic, we recommend a course of 6 treatments, and results from these treatments will last from approximately 12 months. Mesotherapy as a single treatment will not give lasting results.
We choose only the products that best suit your skin concerns. This stimulates fibroblasts to produce more hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin. Further, it boosts the hydration level and there is the improvement of the skin surface creating a natural fresh look. The treatment has ongoing benefits beyond the course of treatment.
We use Hyaluronic acid in its purest form for mesotherapy. Hyaluronic acid is found in the skin and depletes as we get older. Mesotherapy is completely safe for the infusion of substances into the skin. So, it is a very effective rejuvenation treatment.
Avoid make-up on the day of the treatment and use mineral makeup after the treatment to protect the skin. Most importantly, we recommend our patients to wear SPF and avoid extreme temperatures, and direct sunlight.
As long as you are generally healthy and don’t have any skin diseases in the area treated, you can take this treatment. But, due to the electrical output of the devices used, treatment is not suitable for pregnant women or those people with epilepsy, pacemakers, or any serious psychological or medical condition.
Clients feel the treatment like a ‘pins and needles’ sensation but generally describe it as “comfortable”. There are virtually no risks or side effects for healthy candidates. However, we advise, any client with known allergies must take a Patch test before treatment.
